The Toltec society was a continuation of the mesoamerican society because both shared the same religious and cultural traditions of Teotihuacan. When the Toltec people captured the capital city they acquired the same culture and customs from the local people and they did not want to change the original culture already put in place.
Toltec Society influenced other societies because they shared architectural designs and art motifs with the Maya city of Chichen Itza societies. They helped create their base design for their cities and thus they helped start up the societies. The Toltec people also taught the agricultural techniques that they used prior to invasion in the northern part of Mexico where they used to live. The technique taught was irrigation and hill terracing to the Aztec people to help them grow more crops.
The Toltec art that was placed in Mexico inspired other societies to follow in the same path. Therefore ,the Toltec people had a major effect on the art that was created back when they were the powerful society in Mexico.
The video presented here describes the key advancements that the Toltec society had on the other Mexican societies. The video also informs the viewers of the similarities that the Toltec have with other societies.
